Special Stages
Certain stages within EOST are marked as special stages.
Some of these stages with special rules may place restrictions on specific skill effects.
| Special Stage Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Time Attack | Short battles with tighter time limits than conventional fights. If the opponent still has any health remaining when time runs out, you'll lose, meaning you need to beat them as quickly as possible. |
| No Recovery | Survival Matches that, unlike regular ones, do not recover any of your HP when entering a new round. |
| Absolute Perfection | Battles that require perfect victories in order to clear them. |
| Infinite Power | Battles where the power gauge is continuously refilling, allowing you to spend it more aggressively than normal. |
| Dramatic Finish | Battles that require an Ignition Gear, Redline Gear, or Hidden Gear finish in order to clear them. |
| Endurance Battle | Battles against enemies with exceptionally high HP. If your character is still standing when time runs out, you win, making defense and survival more important than offense. |
| No Power | Battles where the power gauge doesn't charge up. |
| Max Rev | Battles where your character is always overheated. |
| Poisoned | Battles where your HP is constantly dwindling little by little. HP-boosting skills are key, as is clearing them in as little time as possible. |
| Invalidated | Battles where all equipped skills are disabled. |
| Attack Limit | Battles with a hard limit on the number of attacks that can be dealt. Exceeding that number will make your character lose. |
| Just Defense | Battles that require you to Just Defend a set number of times before winning. |
