Room Match
Fight with up to eight players in a room made through Room Match.
Two match seats are prepared in a room, letting you fight as Player 1 or Player 2.
There are also standby seats next to the match seats, allowing players to wait until it's their turn.
You can select Spectate regardless of whether or not you are in a standby or match seat (but you cannot spectate a match that has already started).
When entering a room, you can take an open standby or match seat by selecting a seat and pressing Confirm.
On the Room screen, you can chat with other players using preset messages.
(This game does not support free text chat.)

Party VS
In this mode, each player uses a single character to engage in 3-on-3 team battles.
This is the only mode in which you can select characters already chosen by your teammates—you can even fight a team battle using six of the same character.
(In the event of a player disconnection, that player's round will end immediately as the opponent's victory, and play will advance to the next round.)
Substitutes
When Substitute Settings is set to Allowed, a countdown will begin when one or more players from both teams take a seat.
When the countdown reaches zero, players in seats will be assigned to empty seats as substitutes.
Please note that setting substitutes to Not Allowed means that you cannot start a match until all six players have gathered.
Party VS Rules
Party VS in this title can be played under either "Team Best of 3" or "Winner Stays On" rules.
- Team Best of 3
Players are split into two teams, with matches fought one at a time in team order.
Each match switches to the subsequent player, and victory goes to the team with the most winners.
A draw match will result in no win for either side. It will then be the next player's turn to fight.
- Winner Stays On
Players are split into two teams, with matches fought in team order.
Winning players will stay in to fight against the next opponent. Victory goes to the team with the most winners.
A draw match will result in no win for either side. It will then be the next player's turn to fight.
Extra Match
When the first and second players of a team lose their matches, but the third player wins theirs,
this triggers an Extra Match, resulting in the third player fighting additional battles against the first and second players of the opposing team.
If the third player loses a match in Extra Match, play ends immediately with the opposing team's victory.
If the third player defeats the first and second players of the opposing team, the third player's team achieves a comeback victory.
Draft VS
Each player selects characters and engages in 3-on-3 team battles.
Also, this is the only mode where characters selected by opponents become unavailable.
Selecting the characters you want first and stealing your opponent's mains is the key to victory in this mode.
