① Time Limit
Time remaining in the current round. Time runs out when this reaches zero, and victory is decided based on life remaining.
② Life Gauge (Hit Points)
The remaining health of the characters currently fighting. The character whose gauge reaches zero first loses.
③ Guard Crush Gauge
This gauge decreases when guarding against enemy attacks, causing a Guard Crush when the gauge depletes completely.
Your character is left wide open during a Guard Crush, so keep an eye on the gauge.
(The gauge recovers over time.)
④ Controlled Character Panel
Shows the profile picture of the character currently fighting.
⑤ Standby Character Names
Shows the names of reserve characters.
⑥ Character
The character currently fighting.
⑦ Power Gauge
Increases by landing hits or guarding.
Gauge bars are displayed as numbers.
⑧ MAX Mode Gauge
This gauge is displayed when MAX Mode is activated.
Super Special Moves and EX Special Moves are available while this gauge is on screen.
Pause Menu
Pressing the OPTIONS button during the game opens the pause menu. Options available in the pause menu vary by mode.
