Recording/Playback Functions
Training Mode lets you record and replay actions of practice opponent characters.
There are two modes: Standard and Reversal. Reversal replays actions recorded at the time a practice opponent recovers from taking a hit.
Recording | Set to Standard or Reversal. |
---|---|
Reversal | When Recording is set to Reversal, set the situation from which the practice opponent returns. |
Recording Slot | Set the recording slot. Each mode allows for a maximum of five recordings. |
SLOT 1 ∼ SLOT 5 | Set whether to replay actions recorded to each slot. Setting multiple slots to Play will replay them at random. |
In Standard, pressing the Record button (default: L3 (PS4™/PS5™)/left stick button (Xbox Series X/S)) lets you control the practice opponent, and starts to record their movement from that moment.
Press Record again to finish recording. After recording, pressing the Play button (default: R3 (PS4™/PS5™)/right stick button (Xbox Series X/S))
to replay the recorded actions. Also, setting a Repeat button in Button Config lets you play the recorded actions on repeat.
In Reversal, pressing Record starts a 3-second countdown, letting you start recording when said countdown reaches zero.
After recording, pressing Play lets you replay recorded actions at the time of recovery, as set in the Pause Menu.
(In Reversal settings, Repeat and Play will lead to the same behavior.)
Restart with the Touch Pad Button (PS4™/PS5™)/View Button (Xbox Series X/S)
In Training Mode, you can restart from the Pause Menu, or by pressing the touch pad button (PS4™/PS5™)/View button (Xbox Series X/S).

Touch pad (right) / D-pad right + View button | Restart from the right side of the screen (2P against the wall) |
