① Time Limit
The time remaining in a round.
Time is up when the counter reaches 0 and the winner is decided based on the remaining amount of health.
② Health Gauge (HP gauge)
The character's remaining health in the current battle.
The first to reach 0 on their health gauge loses.
③ Guard Crush Gauge
This gauge depletes when blocking an opponent's attack and activates once it reaches 0.
You'll be totally unguarded during a Guard Crush, so be careful.
*Gauge recovers over time.
④ Current Character Panel
Displays the face panel of the character fighting in the current battle.
⑤ Stand-by Character Name
Displays the name of the next character in line to fight.
⑥ Character
The characters participating in the current battle.
⑦ Power Gauge
Increases each time an attack connects or is guarded.
Number of gauges saved up will be represented by a number.
⑧ MAX Mode gauge
When MAX is activated, a gauge is displayed.
While the gauge is displayed, moves like EX Special Moves can be used.
About the Pause Menu
Press the OPTIONS button while playing to open the Pause menu. The contents displayed in the Pause menu will differ depending on the mode. Also, opening the Pause menu during an online battle will not pause the game.
