Recording & Playback Functions
In training mode, you can record and playback your practice opponent's actions. This function has two modes, Standard and Reversal. In Reversal mode, you can playback recorded actions when your practice opponent is recovering from an attack.
Recording | This can be set to Standard or Reversal modes. |
---|---|
Reversal | When Recording is set to Reversal mode, you can set the recovery conditions for your opponent under which playback will occur. |
Recording Slot | This sets the slot for recording. You can make up to five different recordings for each mode. |
SLOT 1 - SLOT 5 | This sets the playback for the actions recorded in each slot. If multiple slots are set to PLAY, the playback will be randomized. |
In Standard mode, by pressing the REC button (default settings: L3), you can control your practice opponent and begin recording from that point. Press the REC button again to finish recording. Press the PLAY button (default setting: R3) after recording is finished and your practice opponent will follow the same actions as those recorded. Also, if you set the REPEAT button in button config, the recorded actions will be repeated.
In Reversal mode, when you press the REC button, a three-second countdown will begin, and you can start recording actions when it reaches zero. After recording is finished, when you press the PLAY button, your practice opponent will playback the recorded actions when they recover from the conditions selected in the Pause Menu. *When set to Reversal mode, using REPEAT will have the same effect as using PLAY.
Restarting with the Touch Pad button
