The main mode of this game. Choose your favorite hero from 10 characters and challenge 5 multi-paths stages. The route chosen through these stages will alter available stages, bosses, story, and ending !
Fight against bosses in a row until you die in “SURVIVAL MODE”. Try to clear intricate missions in “SHOOTING TEST MODE”. These two completely different game modes offer rich and unique game experiences !
In this game mode, you will have to face off consecutively against the bosses, just like in a fighting game. Each time you take down a boss, a new boss, stronger than the previous one, will enter the scene. How far can you resist the power of these bosses ?

3 modes are featured in the “MUSEUM”: “GALLERY”, “MUSIC” and “RANKING”. These modes will allow you to enjoy “graphics” and “BGM” used during game.

RANKING’S CHECK: check your results in the following modes: “SCORE”, “STAGES CLEARED”, and “USED CHARACTERS”.
This mode allows you to configure many options of the game like the difficulty, the number of lives, the key configuration, change wallpapers, etc.
This mode also allows you to switch the screen orientation easily.
“NEOGEO HEROES” can be enjoyed with a horizontal or a vertical orientation display for a total of 4 screen types and a larger battle arena for the characters!
