What is The King of Fighters?
A fighting game series featuring popular characters from various SNK IPs (Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, and more), where you take a three-member team through the eponymous martial arts tournament (”The King of Fighters”) in pursuit of gold and glory. KOF’s nature as an all-star brawl and outright dream match has helped it captivate an ever-growing legion of fans for decades, with the most recent installment—THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV in 2022—being no exception. The franchise has stood the test of time, and continues to delight fans the world over to this day—not only with its loyalty to (yet simultaneous evolution of) its gameplay mechanics in the face of changing sensibilities, but also by way of its rich story arcs and highly unique characters.
